Sage Research Hive Scholarships 2026-27

Each scholarship attracts a fixed bursary of £3,575 for the period September 2026 to the end of July 2027.

Are you interested in developing your professional skills, building your confidence and expanding your research networks through events and collaboration?

We are looking for three enthusiastic postgraduate researchers to join us as Hive Scholars. Working together as a team, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the needs of your fellow postgraduate researchers and develop initiatives to support and strengthen the community.

Key dates to remember:

  • closing date for application is midnight on Sunday 21 June
  • interviews will be held on Monday 6 July or Tuesday 7 July 2026.

What is the Research Hive?

The Sussex Research Hive is the Library’s designated area for researchers, open to all postgraduate researchers and research staff. It provides study areas, bookable study rooms and space for discussion and collaborative work.

It is located on the top floor of the Library and researchers will need to scan their Library cards to gain entry.

SAGE Publishing have given funding to support both the Research Hive and the Sussex Research Hive Scholar programme, supporting the Library’s innovative work in engaging with the research community at Sussex.
