Biography
Elizabeth Harrison gained her BA at Oxford (1986), followed by an MA (1988) and DPhil (1996) at Sussex. She was a Research Fellow at Sussex University between 1990 and 1996, becoming Lecturer in 1996, Senior Lecturer in 2004, Reader in 2013 and Professor in 2017. She has held the roles of Head of Department for International Development between 2009 and 2015, Head of the School of Global Studies (2018-2023) and Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (Academic Experience), 2024-2025.
