Summary
I am a Senior Lecturer in Education at the ÄûÃÊÊÓÆµ and Director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning Research (CTLR). My research interests focus on the relationship between educational and social (dis)advantage. My research covers two broad areas: school exclusion as a disciplinary process and access to higher education. In the past I have worked in secondary schools, adult education and a pupil referral unit and as a family support worker for a school inclusion project.
